These are 3 of the 4 wrestlers that started the SHW.

Steven Clark

Ht: 6'1" Wt: 322 lbs.
The Elevator
B-52 Bomber
Big Man Choke Slam
Big Steve is one of the founding fathers of the SHW.  He is the strongest wrestler in the SHW, incapacitating his opponents with huge slams and/or punches. He is the current and first ever SHW Heavyweight Champion and is also a former Intercounty and two-time Backyard Champion.  Taking this big man down is never an easy task.  Unless of course you lace his burrito with some laxatives.

Mark Massey

Ht:  6'1"
Wt: 167 lbs.
The Dead End
The Massive Driver
The Mass Splash
Known in SFW as "Masshole", Mark Massey is one of the founders of Staunton Hardcore Wrestling.  His career has gone through plenty of ups and downs, but is chocked full of highlights.  In the beginning he and Gerhardt comprised The Sugar Brothers, and waged war with Plenske and Big Steve constantly.  Big Steve eventually turned on Plenske and joined up with him and Gerhardt.  Steve's presence there was short lived, however, as he was booted out and rejoined with Plenske after Massey fast counted Steve in the first ever BYC tournament-giving Gerhardt the title.  His battles with Plenske throughout the years were nothing short of entertaining, and at "We're on T.V.!" he and Plenske fought in a spectacular 2 out of 3 tables match.  His technical abilities play second to only Triple R possibly.  He and Triple R have had countless high caliber matches as well.  At "Hardcore Heatwave" he and Plenske took each other to the very edge, and Massey was able to win his second ever BYC title. There are so many accomplishments and firsts he has achieved that the webmaster has asked they be listed:

-2 time Backyard Champion
-2 time Intercounty Champion
-3 time Tag Champion
-3 time Lightweight Champion
-winner of the Fatal 4 way TLC match
-made it to the BYC tournament finals twice
-member of both the Sugar Brothers and the Mosh Pit
-contender in the 2 out of 3 tables match against Plenske
-defeated Gerhardt in a 3 stages of hell contest
-winner of 3 SHW awards:  Best Lightweight Champion, Best Rivalry(w/ Gerhardt), and Most Valuable Wrestler(tied w/ Plenske).
-competed in the "final" SHW match with Triple R and Plenske.
-defeated Plenske at "Hardcore Heatwave" for his second BYC victory.

With all the above mentioned, it seems Massey's accomplishments speak louder than words will ever be able to.
